Khaki to the Beach

Khaki Longline Split Side | Skort | Jelly Sandals | Sunglasses - AW x Linda Farrow | Gold chain necklace - Avon

After a longtime coming, i decided it was time to come back to blogging and here i bring you an outfit i wore out to Margate beach.

I didn't plan on swimming nor staying in the water so long so this outfit was just right. The Khaki isn't the typical colour for a summer day out to the beach, but the top itself was just right for the weather. The longline tee is lightweight, loose and helps you cool of with the breeze. Plus if i ever change my mind about dipping into the sea then i could easily remove the longline tee and go in with my hidden crop top and skort. 2 in 1 outfit, not bad right?

The main piece here is the khaki but i couldn't leave it hanging without any accessories. So i paired it with a dark blue leather/gold chained belt and thought it would make the outfit more "Greek" to be more fitting for the weather. Then added a gold chain to accentuate the ongoing colour scheme from the belt.

If this was a usual day out I'd definitely rock these with a pair of boots or so, however just to keep it down to earth and suitable for my day out to the beach, i put on some jellies. Jelly sandals are good for long walks especially for the sun, with no discomfort at all!

Tell me what you think about the outfit, what other things you think would go well with it and give love by Commenting/Sharing <3

Quick OOTD: High Waist to Summer

Hi guys, so here's a quick post for y'all.
It's getting pretty hot here in London, so i thought id wear something to match the weather. A lace crop top to keep my body cool with this heat and i was going to pair it with some short but i realised i don't have much shorts in my wardrobe (adding this to the shopping wish list), so i took out these fabulous jaquard trousers which is gladly really cool to wear and lightweight so the heat wouldn't make myself feel too sticky. Don't be afraid to stick to some trousers, as long as it's not too fitting and has a cool fabric, its good to go for the heat!

You can't see my shoes too well because of the sunlight but its a white sole plimsol with gold zips, it helps the outfit look casual and clean, plus i it's a pointed shoe which makes it look super chic! Slip-on shoes are the way to go, it helps us in the weather, whatever the circumstances. In addition,  i preferably wear a sheer button top as a cardigan because i don't like showing too much skin and it doesn't interfere with the heat., so i wore this to keep myself in my own comfort.

Basic Grey

Basic Grey

The weather was so perfect in London on this day, it was really sunny and there was some cool breeze. Spring is definitely on its way and so I took out this denim waistcoat to seize the moment, hooking it up with a short sleeved crop top. Wearing a crop top goes so well with high waisted trousers and changes up the look without showing skin. These trousers are really comfortable and has just the right amount of thickness to go with the spring weather, however I actually didn't like how it isn't secure as a high waisted trouser, so I belted it up but it looks really good without one.

The shoes was there to add a little more colour to the outfit with it's slight touch of red but not too bright thanks to the ombré effect it had.The tones of grey is a nice transitional colour from the dark/neutral colours of winter to the pastel colours of spring. It is a simple touch for the outfit especially with the denim acid wash.

I liked how the outfit fits together colour wise and comfort wise. Everything was light and easy to walk around with, which is totally great for outings outdoors to enjoy the beautiful weather. Tell me what you like about this outfit on the comments below!

Blanc et Noir

Blanc et Noir
Vest Top - Laura Scott/Lookagain
Black Batwing Cardigan/Shirt - Primark
Midi Crossover Skirt - ASOS
Black Chunky Heels - New Look
Necklace - Primark

Happy March! So i have a black and white outfit for you. I wore this out to my cousin's 18th and thought it'd be super cute to post up. I have another midi skirt added to the wardrobe, i wore this on my birthday exactly a month ago but didn't get to take photos of it.

I really liked this outfit, it has a mixture of construction and flow plus the colours black and white is my ultimate fave to pair up. I love monochrome! The cardigan is actually a batwing shirt but i've always been wearing it as a cardigan to go over any short sleeved or very exposing tops like what i am wearing. It's an old purchase so i'm not too sure it's still available but it was definitely worth the buy. The whole outfit was indeed comfortable for me to be wearing and loved wearing it. The vest top is quite revealing, but i did make use of the necklace to cover it up and keep it conserved.

P.S My boyfriend helped dyed my hair, if you noticed the difference :)

Hope you guys liked my outfit, tell me what you think?

Denim Biker

Denim Biker
Denim Jacket: Pull&Bear(sold out) - Similar - ASOS & ASOS
White Tee: Similar - ASOS
Jeans: Similar - ASOS
Knee High Boots: Exact - EBay
Bunny Ear Backpack: Similar - EBay

I wore this on a day out with school to go cinema to watch 'Theory of Everything'. It was quiet a good movie, there's some laughs here and there alongside little tears too, i do recommend to watch it especially since it was about Steven Hawkins and how despite his condition, he had a beautiful love life.

Looking at my outfit, the denim jacket and knee high boots take the spotlight. I kept it simple with a white tee and jeans only for the denim jacket to accentuate it into something similar of a biker look. The denim jacket was a great grab from the pull and bear sale getting it for around £10 when it was £60! great right?

And of course, a biker look is not complete without boots and these are ones my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. They are absolutely comfortable to wear, adds a little height and is super warm! It's suede outside and a little bit of fur inside so your legs are definitely warm from knee to toe. Thanks to my boyfriend, i'm warm and cosy for the winter. I honestly think boots like these are great staples, it goes really well with skinny jeans or mini skirts and any top.

Location: I also suggest you walk by Brick lane or Shoreditch to find more of these beautiful pieces of art work all around the streets, it's an outside gallery of rebellion and beauty!

January Blues

Fedora Primark Cigarette Jaquard Trousers ASOS Crop Top ASOS Scarf New Look
Buckled Ankle Chunky Heels Urban Outfitters

After a lot of window shopping online through January sales, i came across the main piece of this outfit. The Trousers! I've been looking for the perfect trousers to give a difference to my style and this was the one. My dear friend Charlene (click her name for her blog) exclaimed how much of a statement it was in comparison to my other choices of trousers.

The overall look has a lot of pattern but with the colours, the patterns aren't too bold and won't clash with one another. It's a comfortable look on a good sunny day, if not throw on a black coat to match the silver toned outfit.

One other thing different is i got a nose ring! sadly, it's fake. My friend Jasmine (click her name for her blog) made me 2 hand made nose rings in silver and gold. I thought the silver one would work well with the tone and it honestly looks real. Credits to this talented girl!

Happy New Year!

Hello 2015!

Wow the year has gone by too quickly, how did your year go? good or bad?
I've left 2014 being ever so grateful with a more bigger smile because of the good things and better things that have occured but here's to a new year and i wish it treats me and all of you kindness and love.
So, i have 2 posts today since i was quiet absent, so you'll get an outfit post and a more motivational post for the new year so keep yourself updated on the blog by checking or by following my blogging instagram @elleaspire

Midi my skirt

Crop Top Love Label, Midi Skirt Missguided, Lipstick KIKO

This was my new years outfit, simple and classic. I am totally in love with midi skirts and i managed to grab one during black friday with the chance to only wear it for new years. Wearing it with a crop top helps emphasise it's length (and make you more taller) with the colour pink, it gives a great blushing and feminine look. I also colour co-ordinated it with a little dash of gold jewellery and black heels to keep it simple. What could go wrong with a simple look? Oh and dont forget some lipstick! Mine from KIKO, is a matte lipstick to accompany the light pink and not go out too bold.

Happy New Year, Elléa

TurtleNecks

Turtle Neck Thrifted Jeans Primark Boots Clark Coat Hand-me-down

Hey guys, so i owe you an apology? Im still not ised to the fact that im back at blogging so my attempt to regular posting is not at its best yet so.. HI!

On Thursday i had quite a good day, i had a photoshoot over at Great Portland Street and had a great experience ever. Meeting a great make up artist and photographer i was able to get along with really well! So here's the reason why my make up looks very intense but ill talk more about what this shoot is for later in the future so, keep updating yourselves!

So here was my outfit of the day, i wore a creamy green turtle neck, which is the main piece of this outfit because believe me, i am loving turtle necks! Some may think turtle necks are a bit of a question mark to them but they are so perfect for A/W and i think it works with most of my bottoms especially with the jeans i have here which work well with the creamy green because of the light pastel colour scheme i have going here. To stay down to earth the brown boots compliment them really well and the black cape coat of mine.

Lacey

Lacey

Blue Laced Blouse: Warehouse Jeans: Primark Shoes: ASOS

Long story short, i'm back at blogging and i decided to post this up because my fellow friends thought it was a good outfit to wear out, little did they know it was for my date the next day.

So i got this top when i was so craving to buy something new, it was in between this and a pink embossed skirt during a warehouse sale in september. I thought i could use another blouse in the closet, so after contemplating i bought this top! In fact i bought it in school which is ridiculous of me but i was DESPERATE! It was a good buy, it was on sale originally £40 and i only got it for £12, not bad right? The blouse is nicely designed, with the lace accentuating the colour and lightweight fabric and the buttons are covered up giving it a very clean look.

Same goes for the shoes, it wasnt much of a discount but under £20 always seems like a good buy, i got it for £16 in ASOS loving the ombre look of red to black and the tassles. It's under the truffle shoe collection in ASOS so go check that out! To complete the look, i folded up my skinny jeans, tied a ribbon on the blouse and i was good to go.

It feels so good to be back, hope you all like this post!
Thanks to the boyfriend for taking my photos!

Title: 2014!

Happy New Year Bloggers!
Hope you all have a wonderful new year!

The One Four x OOTD
Everything is from primark -
Blouse
Long pencil skirt*
Belt
Earring
Except:
Ombré Heels - H&M

I'd like you guys to take into account that this was a total last minute outfit, rushed in and out of shops with tons of sales and people. Rushing resulted to not bothering to look throughout the entire stores but popping in an out of sections. Either way i found a nice simple outfit to begin the year from Primark, don't hate, the shop is good for basics and simplicity for most times plus it's about how you wear it!!
This is the year of the "wood horse" so earthly colours is advised to wear, since I'm not really a green person, i wanted to try it out and burst out this look and try something new.
*The long pencil skirt was adjusted to a midi skirt :) sometimes you just have to fiddle and see what suits you as a person.

Happy New Years Message:
Let's all take into account that this is another chapter of our lives, 1 out of 365 days has begun and we should use these days wisely, usefully... and have fun! We are getting older by the minute so appreciate and don't regret, everything is a lesson and everything happens for a reason!
Happy 2014! - Make the most of it!

I'd like to recommend an inspirational blogger, my friend Hayley!

I love her and love her words!

Title: City chic x OOTD

Bonjour guys, it's been weeks since i last posted so i apologise that i don't post on a weekly basis. However i thought of this in advance to make sure i post up a good outfit and post for you all!
So today it's Anna-Marie's birthday and we celebrated it by going over to Oxford Street and eat together at a Korean Restaurant called Arirang. It's been ages since we were all together in one place without school being in the way so it was a good chance to just bond with them. The theme of this outing was 'city chic' and it took me ages to match up something with this theme without getting cold.

City Chic OOTD

Batwing Top: Forever 21
White Jeggings: Primark
Low Wedged Heels: Clarks
Lion Necklace: Ebay
Black Necklace: Unknown
Snake Bracelet: Philippines

Trench Coat: Thrifted/H&M

Recently, i 'thrifted' this coat from a charity shop in Greenwhich and thought it was in such good condition that i didnt hesitate to buy it. For something below £10, it's very comfy and suited well with the outfit i had on today.

Title: Hello Fashion!

So i apologise for not being able to post or blog any interesting stuff lately because im at the transition of the start of sixth form and so it's very important i am aware what will come for me with the subjects i chose.
However let's go to subject and talk about my recent fashion experience!
I had the opportunity to watch a fashion show yesterday, It was the F.A.D Fashion Futures program to present 20 finalists final garments and designs. I was able to attend such a remarkable experience because my friend Melissa was one of the 20 finalists! *round of applause* Check her blog out guys, if you havent!

With her hard work into giving up hours of her saturdays and time to work through and with the projects she managed to be lucky enough to be the chosen 20 out of 100 people in london.
Sadly, she did not manage to make win or so but that definitely does not stop me from being honestly proud of her :')
With 20 contestants they had around 6/7 months to work with the F.A.D team and build up this project, with research and determination, they put all their effort of preparation into work within 5 days of making the garment they had in mind. ladidaaaa, i'm talking to detailed and formal here but here come le photos ~
I can't post everything so apologies.
